We offer therapy sessions both online and in-person

Client Population

Individual therapy is open to both neurotypical and neuroatypical clients ages 13 to adult. All genders, sexuality identities, and cultural backgrounds are welcome.

Couples therapy is open to adult relationships of any gender, sexuality, culture, or agreement.

Geographical Areas Served

Cedarwood Psychology is located in Downtown Halifax. Online and in-person sessions are open to residents of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.

Therapeutic Modalities

Dr. Robyn McClure practices with a mix of cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and self-compassion.

Drew McClure practices Emotion-Focused therapy (EFT) with both individuals and couples.

Specialties

Dr. Robyn McClure specializes in therapy with neuroatypical clients (e.g., ADHD and ASD diagnoses), general mental health concerns (e.g., anxiety and depression), and youth transitioning to adulthood. Dr. McClure does not currently treat either trauma or personality disorders.

Drew McClure specializes in relationships, attachment, anxiety, and avoidance, with particular attention to welcoming all gender and sexual identities. Trauma and historical pain are welcome. Drew works to build safety, trust, and helpful vulnerability in both individual and couples work.
